The Family Wimpel and its Importance
This wimpel was requested with the very words that give it its purpose, "We want a wimpel because we are a couple that focuses on the importance of family." Consequently, all the substance in the design goes back to that concept and its tie to the Torah and Jewish identity. The word mishpochan, or family, is enveloped by images that suggest belonging. The colored lines leading from the couple's names represent the coming together of wife and husband toward a shared life of mutual values. These same lines flow through the names of their son and daughter, showing growth and the meaning of the custom. Amen selah.
